HiVIS2021 – Thanks for getting involved

HiVIS2021 took place this year 7-20 June and was centred on the diversity of reading. Loads of libraries got involved in celebrating accessible reading and highlighting a fantastic  range of services and activities. Thank you to everyone who got involved, especially given all the challenges of the pandemic. We will be in touch at the end of the year with details of the dates, theme and ideas for next year – Roll on  HiVIS2022!

Here are just a few of the brilliant Tweets we spotted during the week:

Tweet from Buckinghamshire Libraries: Hi VIS fortnight may be coming to an end, but all the wonderful accessible reading resources we have been celebrating will still be available - large print, audiobooks, eAudio and eBooks. Enjoy! http://ow.ly/Rphx50FcFpi #HiVIS2021 #BooksForAll
Tweet from Explore @YorkLibraries: Thank you so much for a brilliant #HiVIS2021! We've loved sharing all forms of accessible reading with you over the past two weeks. Don't forget, the resources we've highlighted this week are available all the time on our website https://exploreyork.org.uk, not just for #HiVIS21!
Tweet from Cambs Libraries: Do you know anyone who loves reading but finds small print difficult? Could you tell them about all of the ways we can keep them in touch with reading? Ask at your library - visit our webpage for ideas and support. #HiVIS2021 @ReadingSight https://cambridgeshire.gov.uk/residents/libraries-leisure-culture/libraries/library-services-for-people-with-a-visual-or-print-impairment
